Limo Ride of Fallen Royal
The Hindu monarchy has been abolished after a 239 reign in Nepal. Just yesterday, the ousted King vacated his office, but left behind none of his style, class or presence, even though he was no longer the ruler.
Leaving the sprawling palace which was once his official office, the former King Gyanendra rode out in a black limousine, heading for his hunting lodge just outside of the capital he once ruled. The King’s exit was met with mixed reactions with hundreds of people making their way to the palace to see him drive off in his chauffeur driven limo, while still others chanting slogans.
Just two weeks earlier, a special assembly abolished the monarchy, forcing the King out of his pink, pagoda-roofed Narayanhiti palace in the heart of Kathmandu. However, despite his fall from office, the King was able to make a dignified exit and one which people will remember for many years to come, either for the good or the bad.
Despite the overwhelming show of unpopularity for the crown, the former King left with dignity and grace behind the tinted windows of his black limousine, in what must have been a hard trip to make.
But often it is more important how you react and behave when things are going badly and this is when your true character is revealed. It is easy to appear composed and in control when everything is going your way, but we all know that doesn’t happen for much of the time, regardless of whether you are (or were) a King, or you live an ordinary life outside of the spotlight.
However, to keep yourself composed at a time when others would fall apart, contact Limo Hire Preston now for more information about hiring a limousine to transport you in easy style, to wherever you need to be.
