The original components of the cars have a GVWR which states how much weight the car can support. If the stretched limo exceeds the originals car’s GVWR it can create serious safety issues and puts extra strain on internal components.

QVM – Qualified Vehicle Modifiers
Lincoln is one of the luxury car manufacturers who encourages their cars to be stretched to limousines. Therefore they have developed training courses to teach coachbuilders to be Lincoln QVM. These certified coachbuilders ensure the cars they create meet the safety and design requirements to keep the warranty intact. They are also the only ones who can extend Lincolns without voiding the warranty.

CMC – Cadillac Master Coachbuilders
Cadillac is the only other luxury car manufacturer who has developed training courses for coachbuilders to stretch their vehicles. These certified coachbuilders ensure the cars they create meet the safety and design requirements to keep the warranty intact. They are also the only ones who can extend Cadillacs without voiding the warranty.
